Ability Effects Scaling

I’m not a programmer, but I know enough to know that “simple” things to a layman rarely actually are, so I don’t know how feasible this is, but it would be great if ability animations scaled in size to increased or decreased area of effect stats.

I’m pretty sure abilities that are area of effects like Elemental Nova say, do increase in visual animation as you increase its size. It can be hard to notice since you get it incrementally and the animations don’t always have a clear line indicating their outer reach, but if you look at the base ability and then look up an endgame build of said skill, you can clearly see a huge size difference between the two animations.

Did you have any particular animation in mind when you said this? It might be particularly poorly indicated for that skill.

The first thing that comes to mind is Dragon Fire when it procs on the Dragonsong unique bow; it never seems to change its animation size.

Dragonfire scales with area of effect affixes.
I always keep my t7 aoe gloves and amulet in stash to test skills with aoe tags.
And i can confirm that it works for the bow.
