Abilities that cant change scaling should not have icon suggesting they can

TL:DR - The icons next to abilities should be removed if the ability cannot change the damage scaling to it.

Rive’s only Void based damage improvements are Weapon specialist IF you use an axe making it scale with Vitality (1 Void damage per 1 Vitality) and Temporal Warrior giving it +10% void damage and double echo chance.

Although this works with the playstyle of the void knight it seems like these numbers assumed you would be swapping the physical scaling to void but this is missing or removed?
If not, what void damage is this 10% actually improving on rive? Just the vitality scaling damage, flat void damage on weapon strike or are there other void damage affected by this?
Otherwise am I correct to read this as now making an axe using void knight now scale 1.1 void damage per vitality?

Now I only have this experience with Rive, most of the other skills I’ve encountered on void knight/sentinel with these Icons have actually been able to swap its scaling correctly. The only outlier I’ve found was an Idol for shield throw converting its scaling to Void, but I cant find any Idols doing the same for Rive anyway.
I can’t speak for the other classes/specialisations, but do they have this problem?

It seems to me like its quite misleading at a glance and requires you to read every single node in the tree to know it wont ever change (which yes we should be doing anyway) and gives a false confidence that the abilities scaling will change.

Can we get these icons removed if the ability’s talent nodes do not swap the scaling like the majority of other abilities?

At first i was thinking the same! and the Void tag never change is confusiong as well.
Rive still get bonus from void dmg isf u go Temporal Warrior. u get void mele dmg form other sorces like weapon or void skill tree . the talent weapon spec. is an addition to this dmg.
so i dont know for sure know if the shown dmg is inc with the void modifire . ig ot lukcy with a sword mit +30vod dmg and 30 physic dmg and even the 2h axes with 45 physic( who should scale with vita too void ) are giving me less overal dmg bec of the +30vod dmg rolld on the other wepon .
so i would say the raw dmg still working better then the “Weapon Specialist” Talent. evne its not tagt as void i think the talent Temporal Warrior doing his Job.
mby it would scale too strong if its get Voide tagt bec it would then scale with vita too … dont know
But sure its needs some visual improfment do understand this better
