Aarons will

And you, with that comment right there is the reason it cant get better. you love the feels and when someone states something you dont like you try and flip the table

What are you talking about ā€œthe feelsā€?
Playing skeletons feels different than playing wraiths.
Playing abomination feels different than playing zombies.
Playing golems feels different from playing mages.
Even playing multiple mages feels different from archmage.

You choose your build to play based on ā€œfeelsā€ always. It’s what ā€œfeelsā€ fun to play. Some are stronger, some are weaker. It doesn’t make them any less valid as long as they can do the content you want them to.

That is not what i meant and you damn well know it so stop trying to straw man. If you cut the damage but make it less screen clutter just to have 2 more big shiny things that is for the feels. I generally use dread phalanx as a good pointer as cutting your damage in half then increasing it by 80% while also cutting the debuf stacks you inflict in half is not worth the wasted point just to get rid of screen clutter. Likewise removing either 2 ring slots or an entire specialization for 2 golems which is a massive reduction in potential damage and debuffs just because you feel better with the 2 extra golems that is feels… its objectively a crap choice.

Personally I want the items and skills to be brought up, but with people touting that everything is fine while everyone else gets buffed is like saying everything is fine walking from Florida to Cali when others are getting cars or others (rogues) are getting jets but you are completely fine walking and even saying it makes you stronger and better because it makes you try harder.

Considering that I haven’t seen a single person complaining about it in 2 years, I’d say it’s less of a problem with the unique or the build and more you having a problem with it.

It seems likely that you had your build, put on Aaron’s Will, didn’t immediately get results and didn’t bother building for it.

I agree with this. I play fire summons on my Necro. Lvl 97. I use Aarons Will, but the extra golem node in the tree so I have 4 smaller golems, 2 wraiths, 5 mages, and that curse puddle on right click instead of zombies. I like the playstyle of debuffing enemies while the summons go get them.

I also enjoy the Abomination build, but I find the one large minion just can’t be everywhere at once when I’m farming and I tend to get clipped by mobs he misses.

May not be the best builds out there, but it gets the job done well enough, and there’s not so much on the screen that my friends can see what’s going on. The biggest complaint my friends had with my skele builds was they couldn’t see anything happening while my minions were blowing up the world.

No, I did the exact opposite, i started with aarons will golem build then was swapping out from there, which makes it even worse. and people did complain but way to many fanbois were like ooooo more golems and made meh golem builds.

@Sarkman you do realize that you gutted your golems even further with that node as it applies the negatives to all your golems. with 1 golem and taking that node its already not great but now you take the stats from multiple golems to make one more.

Not in the forums, they didn’t. Nor in the discord. Maybe on some remote corner of reddit there were 2 or 3 people complaining.
