A way to inspect other players

so, just bought the game and loving it
but as a new player idd like to see how other players in the leaderboard or once i see online in game made thier character, thier gear, states, and thier build
is this something that possible? if not any plans to add it to the game?

+1ā€¦would even like to simply be able to inspect other players while in towns; would be cool to see what gear they have and see the stats at least.

I disagree, cuz will be like in D3 rankings - everyone the same build and eq ;c You can still inspect players on le tools, but ofc not for 100% cuz they wanna change / hide secrets or way to build and you will see ā€œtroll buildā€.

i also wouldnt mind seeing peoples names when I mouse over them in town. js

I asked them in discord about this a while ago, and they said they have discussed it. It will potentially happen in the future.

I loved doing this in D2 back in the days, inspect all the cool stuff the others had.

Agreed, it really feels like an oversight that should be added. If anything, just donā€™t show peopleā€™s actual stats or builds and just the gear.

Remember when you could inspect in Diablo III? That was great. I could look at my wifeā€™s gear and then make quick recommendations for improvement. Then they just took that ability away. Iā€™m not sure if it was due to a load on servers or something. I would love to be able to inspect in LE.
