The door is actually open, despite not using the officers crest on the door.
This occurred after I picked up the crest in the ruined era. Not sure if it was open beforehand due to the update or not. [It was not open when I first reached the location]
I did actually use the crest in the picture, however afterwards I thought I should post my find.
Basically I could have walked past the door and ignored the guard and skip the progression through that quest due to not talking to the guard.
Same. I did not get to experience it before the patch due to logging off early this morning for a few hours of sleep.
Its just a simple bug [Hopefully] that can be flushed out with a hotfix [Again, hopefully lol].
I can confirm the door is missing but it does not break the quest.
I went in after the office “locked” the door and cleared the place.
I then went to the Ruined Era, picked up the key, went back and got the quest dialog where I unlocked the door. I entered and succesfully completed the quest.
This is fixed.
