A Gamers Petty Complaint to EHG

So I get why we have gender locking and the inability to customize our characters - I think EHG’s decision to focus on the game first over these sorts of things was the right one.

What I do not get is the character choices being so vanilla looking. I mean they are subjectively 6-7s on the beauty scale when my female demon hunter in D3 was a 9 or 10.

I mean this is a fantasy game no? Why would I want to play a toon that is a normal John Doe or Jane Smith? Give me an attractive super fit toon to play…why is that such a crime in today’s gaming design rooms? Is it virtue signaling? Is it placating to the vocal minority?

I just dont get it.

That is actually funny, because I think it is the exact opposite. Any human representation in videogames is hyper perfect and a lot of the times super sexual. Not in everygame, but the majority.

So I think games that have more realistic representations are doing it better.
Also at the end of the day in a game like LE you will not see your character that much anyway.
