A few suggestions and feedback

Diamond Matrons spawning in groups of 3-4 are completely overturned. I’ve never felt this game has been unfair up until this point and it feels really bad to see them in groups.

Is there a way to increase the cursor size? I looked through gameplay, and can’t seem to find anything, this would add a big QoL for those of us that have a harder time keeping our focus on it during battle.

Also there is a monolith that has the player spawn in a fire grate, this should not be killing players during the load screen. This has happened at least twice. Or just make it so the grace period actually lasts until i move my char.

Enough of the bad, I really like the gear progression system, mastery system, and am super excited for the factions, and cycles. I normally keep my thoughts about the game I am playing to myself but I want to see this game become the best ARPG of all time and I think it has that potential.

Lol. Wait till you get the Diamond Matrons AND multiple Covenant of Dominions. That will put hair on your chest.

No way in game. Yolomouse is your friend.

Its supposed to do this already - but this is cancelled if you use a skill or your minions/pets attack something. There are quite a few bug reports about things like this so its likely you are experiencing something like this.

Hey! Welcome to the forums.

Diamond Matrons is one of the higher risk mobs, along with Covenant of Dominions, and I have had issues with more than one spawning at a time with certain builds. I don’t know if the devs are planning on either tuning them down or (I would think this would be the preference if any) restricting how many can spawn together. Some builds can, at least almost, tank them and do enough DPS so they aren’t as much of an issue. Others are a different story and can be killed quickly by them.

As for the cursor size, I know this has been an issue raised many times. The current resolution is to use Yolomouse.

I remember an dev update or a dev post soooooommmeee while back that talked about currently there are a number of mob types that are ‘mislabeled’ as it were when it comes to population in monos. So that a few of them get over populated because they aren’t considered ‘rares’ or ‘elites’ or ‘boses.’

Something to this affect, I can’t remember exactly and I can’t find the post with my horrible Google Fu. But if this hasn’t been fixed yet, I do think it’s something on their radar.

Thank you all for the yolo mouse suggestion. It has helped drastically. I’m currently playing Fire Wraiths and I think not having any reliable ways of dealing AoE damage is causing these matrons to be much more difficult compared to the golemancer build i was playing prior.

Regarding grace period, it seems to only last 10-20sec after entering a dungeon, doesn’t seem to matter if i have minions summoned or not. A minute at most would be appreciative for those with slower internet connections.

Currently having minions is part of the problem. They start engaging the mobs even though both them and the mobs are still not loaded visually and you can’t do anything due to the loading. The grace period is supposed to resolve the loading time but does not take into account the minions engaging. This causes the mobs, spires, etc. to start hitting where you are and doesn’t give you time to react when you are able to do anything.

Hopefully the devs will extend this even further than they already have, where it is now, or make some changes to prevent anything from taking action during this period regardless, even your own minions.

Yeah, minions are definitely a big trigger that ‘breaks’ the timer. If there is an enemy one screen over it can easily trigger it and by the time YOU have loaded in, your hitting the panic button like a madman because your critters have suddenly dragged back a bunch of new ‘friends.’ :flushed:

Thats been given as feedback to the devs multiple times since they were added to the games, dont expect it to change any time soon.

I feel like Covenant of Dominions are way too powerful, not only it kills you but it kills your FPS as well. Feels like their patch on the ground stacks and this is just from 1 Covenant alone (That branching-out fire skill, I don’t really know what to call it).

It’s quite inconsistent. Even without pets, I’ve had issues where the game spawns me near enemies and I get targeted and come back to the game dead. There’s also this other monolith arena-type map where there’s a big cauldron-ish flame thing at the middle that ignores your grace period. This is probably the only arena-type monolith map that has this problem as far as I know.

Covenants… Having played the game for so long, they dont bother me anymore - mainly because most mobs arent that hard until high corruption empowered monoliths… I like having something “normal” that can get you a little sweaty cause the game, especially early is pretty easy. Most of these kinds of problems are balance issues that the devs have confirmed they are going to be dealing with before launch so for now, we just have to deal with it.

For me its less the individual mobs that are a problem but the potential for mobs that when combined in specific combinations in things like Echos/ Arena, can exponentially increase difficulty beyond what would be “fair” or expected based on other difficulty scaling like corruption. There are plenty of examples where you can do one echo with ease and the next can be a “oh sh1t” race to survive and its all just because of the combination of mobs.

The grace period - yeah, the devs know about it all… they have even increased the timeperiod after initial feedback, but there is still something not working with it.
