A few QOL Features request

Some QOL features to make our LE gameplay experience better.

  1. Chests:
    1.2. Search queries:
    1.2.1. We need some implementation of search queries for the loot chest Search box as the current option of just being able to search word phrases is too basic, preventing ability to use search for more advanced queries.
    1.2.2 This feature should allow for searching based of item types, ie based on Rarity of items, allowing the ability to search for ‘Exalted’ items that are used for making legendries etc.

    1.3. Transferring items to chests:
    1.3.1. Ability to ignore ‘Tab Priority’ when transferring loot to chests using SHIFT+RMB. A simple fix would be SHIFT+CTRL+RMB.
    1.3.2 Currently we need to manually drag items and can not use SHIFT+RMB at all when all of the item types are set to categories.
    1.4.4 Adding ‘Tab Priority’ to Category tab so that we don’t need to set tab priority every time a tab is filled.

  2. Separation of Weaver tab from MG/COF.
    2.1 Currently its a chore to access the MG/FOC as you would usually be on the weavers tab due to end-game activity. A simple separation would be a huge QOL in terms of button to access either on will.
    2.1.1 Just being able to set different keys for either Weavers or MG/COF would be convenient.

  3. Auction house (MG)
    3.1.1. Merchant guild (Auction house) item search query system is extremely unintuitive. The item images take an unnecessary large amount of visual space.
    3.1.2 Mod ranges query tool is unintuitive, and usually does not work. We really need improvements on this in-game tool.
    3.1.3. If this is not possible due to in game limitations, it would be great if a website forum based auction house could be made.
    3.2. A quick link for either the Merchant Guild or Circle of Fortune would be great.

  4. In-game Chat box:
    4.1. Chat box visibility:
    4.1.1 does not remain open when you are using any game menu that covers its area. This is somewhat of an immersion break, so would be great if this can be fixed.
    4.2. Linking items in chat:
    4.2.1 Quite often the linking of items breaks, where either the chat closes or the link + text does not go through. A fix to this issue could be to make the chat box in focus when its open, ie any action we do is applying the for main search menu inside the main open menu.

  5. End-game Timelines:
    5.1.1. Player Chests:
    5.1.2. Starting point of a timeline where you go into Echo’s from, lacks a player chest. Sometimes you might want to access the chest before starting to farm echos.
    5.2 Loot chests inside the echo
    5.2.1 Visibility of chests is quite low. Better highlighting of the clickable chests would be great.
    5.3. Access to Equipment vendor at timeline base:
    5.3.1 This will allow in selling items to vendor rather then having to go to town each time.
    5.4. Access to Re-specialisation vendor at timeline base:
    5.4.1 Quicker ability to re-specialise passive points rather then having to go to town each time.

  6. Crafting materials visible from Inventory:
    6.1 As Modifier Runes and specially the Support Glyphs are rarer, it would be great if the numbers of these is visible directly from inventory.

  8. Quest visibility
    8.1 The symbols to make quests visible/invisible are unintuitive. Quite often new players are asking in chat on how to make these visible. Can the symbol be changed to simpler instructions of ‘Press Shift’. Even I’m not sure how the ‘Reset View’ button works.

  9. Loot filter
    9.1 Loot beams:
    9.1.1 Being able to add our own loot beams to item rules would be great.
    9.2 Loot sounds:
    9.2.1 This will help with offscreen loot drops, along with noticing missed drops in general.
    9.3 Hiding loot beams of some items/item types entirely.
    9.3.1 This will help in reducing visual clutter visible through the loot filter.
    9.4. Custom colorisation of loot drops.
    9.4.1 This will help us set different colors for loot per our choosing. E.g. Setting different colors for Runes/Glyphs as we want, allowing us to make a better loot filter.
    9.5. Implicit rules in the loot filter:
    9.5.1 Ability to set implicit in the loot filter is currently missing. Is this by design or can it be added later on?
    9.6 Forge Power rules in the loot filter:
    9.6.1. Ability to hide low forge power items would be great.

  10. Structured lists on this forum
    10.1 Not sure why nested items cant be added to this list feature.

  11. Mini-map:
    11.1 Mini-map location on the UI:
    11.1.1 Ability to change its location from top-right to bottom-right
    11.2 Monsters visibility on the mini-map:
    11.2.1 Currently we are unable to see any living monsters on the mini-map. It would be great if we can see the monsters on the mini-map on the side (Not the layout map).
    11.2.2 Perhaps just the special monsters (Magic/Rares etc) being visible a notification on the mini-map would be a massive QOL.

  12. Remaining monsters:
    12.1 Would be great if we can get information on monsters remaining to be cleared for those who like to complete the full echo.
    12.2. If this is against the design vision, perhaps indicators on for special monsters once the main objective is cleared would be great.

  13. Ping number or graph:
    13.1 It would be great if we can have a running number on the ping visible rather then having to browse over the ping bar. Option to see its graph can help with more information on how your network is doing etc.

  14. Ability to Pause the game when playing on online mode
    14.1 Some implementation of pause would be great for solo-play (Not party play).

  15. Mob table added to shards
    15.1 Currently we have no idea what the values of mods can roll between forcing us to use external site. Something like this would be nice to have when using shards.

I’ll update this list as I find more things later on depending on the forum rules etc.

You may need to elaborate on this, the dev’s are not mind readers.
