A Brief List of Suggestions

Hello! Just want to start by saying I’m having a blast with Season 2. The Weaver Faction is amazing and is making leveling very smooth and fast. But as I play through the game, I wanted to voice some suggestions I have to make the experience better based on experiences I’ve had playing other ARPGS. So in no particular order, here we are:

  • Adding Pause functionality to the game when you aren’t in a party - This would be a huge, HUGE QoL benefit! I would really like to have this when I’m running around in Monoliths. If this functionality could also extend to perusing the menus as well (when respeccing, checking faction rep, etc) that would be amazing
  • Improved Map Overlay Settings - Being able to alter the opacity of the overlay map is great, but given some of the game backgrounds its still tough to see. Is there a way we could customize the display further? Such as adding some kind of backglow to the map to make it stand out from the environment its being displayed on.
  • Offline MTX - I understand that at this moment if I want to play offline I can’t use my MTX and EHG has been upfront in saying that to people purchasing those MTX (which I appreciate). But I would like to suggest that this be changed to allow players to use their MTX cosmetics offline. I know that this might require some reengineering of the backend systems, but as a data engineer myself, I know it can be done. For example, you could allow a person to authenticate with the servers once when going offline for verification of MTX ownership. That would allow someone to use their MTX offline. If a user buys something else, they could then go online, renew their license/authentication, and go back offline to use any newly purchased MTX.
  • Autolooting glyphs and fragments - Could we just have all glyphs and runes autoloot like gold please? When a lot of them drop alongside other items (like uniques, set items, and legendaries) its very difficult to pick up the specific items when all of them are clogging up the screen, especially if you’re playing on controller (as I prefer to).

Again, having a great time so far. Thank you for your time!
