Here are a number of things that have come to mind over the last year or so, which I haven’t seen addressed yet.

Show prefix/suffix next to affixes in loot filter.

This would be very useful for new players like myself. As it is right now, I could create a rule that says, “Show me any item that has 3+ of these mods”, but select only prefixes or only affixes and not know it. Obviously nothing would ever match that rule. But if the loot filter said which ones were prefixes/suffixes I could very clearly see that and adjust. (Yes, this information’s shown in our crafting inventory, but having it in the loot filter would be helpful.)

Add # of open affixes to loot filter

Being able to say, “Show me items with these three mods and an open affix slot” is better than just being able to say, “Show me items with these three mods”. Yes, I understand you might be able to use a Glyph of Despair to move a 4th mod, but my point is that it’s useful to be able to create a filter rule that prioritizes the item with the open mod slot over one that would require a Glyph of Despair. Or someone might not want to bother with needing to use the Glyph at all.

Don’t include implicits in loot filter Affix matching

I can’t find a good example right now, so I’m not 100% sure this is happening, but I could swear there are a lot of junk items being highlighted by my filters where it’s matching on implicits as well as prefixes and suffixes. If I’m right, then please make the Affix conditional only apply to the prefixes/suffixes. If we want items that have certain implicits we can use the Item Type condition to select those.

Alphabetize the shard list in crafting inventory

For example, I’m looking at an item right now that has an open prefix. I’m looking at the shards I have, and the first four are:

Mana
Dexterity
Intelligence
Minion Dodge Rolling

Crit strike Chance for Skeletons is almost at the bottom of the list, and at the bottom are all the “Level of …” prefixes.

Armour and armor

If you go into the loot filter, select Affix conditional, and then search for armour and armor you’ll find both. You should probably standardize to one or the other.

Just thought of another thing. It would be handy if there were another drop-down in the crafting inventory where you could filter based on what kind of item the affix could be applied to.

For example, I happened to hover over All Resistances and noticed it can only be applied to shields. I briefly wondered if I could change the build guide I’m using right now to have a shield instead of an off-hand catalyst, but in order to see if my other needed mods can be applied to a shield I’d have to find them one by one and see if any of them can be added to a shield. If not, then I’d have to see which other mods I need for my build can be, and maybe juggle mods around between items. it would just be a lot easier to have a drop-down that would show me which can be added to a certain item type.

Good suggestion

This is currently not the case. Implicits are not being taken into account when setting Affix Conditional up

Not sure if something was changed, but I just created a rule that had a number of options selected, but when I went to tell it I wanted at least 3 of these affixes the drop-down only gave me the option for 1 or 2. So I guess something in the game knows that I only selected either all prefixes or all suffixes and that it would be impossible to match on 3 of them. This is a good sign, because that means that information’s probably already in there somewhere and just needs to be displayed to the user.

For now I’ll have to take another look at this rule and see what other affixes I would want to make this a 3-affix rule.
