+2 to smite from Aurelis is not working

I am using two +2 Aurelis’s and smite is only getting +3 in the skill tree. I’d upload pictures, but I can’t seem to do so.

Most people upload pics to other sites (such as imgur.com, other sites are available) & link.

I have two Aurelis, one is +1 to Smite and the other is +2 to Smite. When I equip both, I get +3 to Smite. The bug is only with dual +2?
