New player here. Just bough your game from steam, a friend of mine recommended.
Simple question: Must I lose all my crafting material and stash tabs just cause I didn’t notice you could leave no option selected when I created my first character? If it is that way just let me know.

If you remove the solo challenge from a character you will only keep equipped gear and all items in your inventory.
You will lose gold, crafting materials and Stash content.

I am sorry, but english is not my native language, I now know, what you were going for.
But I think giving feedback this way is not that helpful, because there is a lot that can be misunderstood or misinterepted.
All you need to do is, to say what you think about a specific thing.
So the main take-away here would be:
That’s fair feedback, but I just think it’s not very clever presented 
I think It is clever enough, at least you understood it. Yes it could be better said, but I don’t think its that bad.
And, It was not just feedback, it was kinda question imbued. I feel like time is the most important for me now, I dont want to wasted time with things that are not well explained, but I can understand Its under development, so I said “If it is that way just let me know.”

I’m not sure I understand.
When I create a char (and I’ve done it probably around 50 times), I see the check boxes but I also see that I can create without checking any. To me it seems obvious.
Do you feel the need for a tooltip at that moment? That may help some players, yes.
He just want the options by default to be unchecked. His tone is quite confrontative which I attribute to his frustation losing his stashes.
They are by default unchecked.
Ok, I misunderstand him. As Heavy mentioned, it need to be better expressed.
Don’t know if this helps but during character selection in the upper left you have this:
If you do roll up a solo character, once you’re in the game you can navigate to the menu → settings → challenges where you’ll find:
When I look at it, it does say “optional” challenges at the top so this is more of a case that OP didn’t read.
Maybe he played PoE where ssf chars share the chest as well and he wants this feature implemented here as well. No idea I can only guess ^^.
