Yes you will certainly reach a point where you want to hide a lot of stuff. When you are still not decked out in exalted items a Blue item with 2x T5 desired affixes can still be good for crafting.
But my filter is not really a endgame filter. You need to customize it.
Hello everyone,
I wanted to share my plans for 1.1 regarding the upcoming loot filter changes/additions.
For reference:
I am planning to integrate the new LP and WW filtering into my loot filters for you all to enjoy. This will most likely look like 3 different color codings for 1-3LP and the last color as emphasized for 4LP. Let me know if you have suggestions for default colors for these LP steps.
For WW I will most like use the same colors and then do something like 0-8WW, 9-12 WW, 13-15WW and 16+ WW.
Regarding Multiple affix conditions I don’t think I will utilize this feature in my loot filters yet, because they are only useful for very specific searches and I wanted to deliberately keep my loot filter as stript down and simple as possible. But if you do have suggestions for some default ruels utilizing these, let me know as well.
Regarding the planned schedule: I will try to deliver updated versions for all 5 classes within the first 1-2 hours of the patch dropping. So if you are interested in that, stay tuned and keep this thread on your watchlist.
I will also stream the process of that live on twitch and after being finished I will jump into the new Cycle playing Erasing Strike Void Knight, planning to use the new Event Horizon Unique (2H Big Bonk Hammer).
If you are interested in that, stop by and say hi. We are blasting some rad music as well
so on the front page it says that you can add a rule to hide items you don’t want to use. Seems like there is no room left for a new rule. Is there any rules that could be taken out to place in a new one to hide weapons I’m never going to touch.
Hey there, oh you are right, with the new additions with the latest patches some of the filters have reached too many rules.
I think the cascaded “Hide Low Level Rules” towards the bottoms are the easiest to replace, because they overwrite each other once you reach a certain level.
I will definitely to another revision of all the filters within the next few days to solve this issue.
Looks like i ended up playing the only class that actually has all 75 rules used up lol.
Another bit of feed back and honestly this might already be on your list. The front page could use a touch up for newer players. Under optional features it still list 0.8 rouge item types as a selectable option. I know we are all enjoying the game right now as well as you are so this might be just a low priority but did want to point it out incase it was not on your radar.
That is good feedback, I planned on revision my loot filter and will take use that to also update and review my OG post.
But I also don’t want to update the filter every few hours/days, so I am currently still playing and streaming the patch to get a better sense of what updates I want to do.
And then I will do a bigger overhaul.
