Is there a refund option for those that havent gotten their full product after 24 hours? Would be nice!

Actually D4 had a smooth launch day if you recall (clearly you dont) also it had what 20-30x the amount of connections? Also epoch has been in alpha/beta for what 5 years? Clearly enough time to know what was expected after bragging of 1m pre orders. I didn’t expect it to go smooth but this has been worse than “bad”. Also when you are playing you are noticing there are a ton of simple bugs that shouldnt exsist with that long of a beta.

“you’re the sheep,” said the person who clung to simple words from simple people as if they were gold.
get over it and try something new. maybe some common sense would be a good thing.

D4 also has the backing of a billion dollar company and a larger staff, but yes please show us how lost you are in all this.

The worst game launch in my life. I have been playing games for more than 30 years, and this is by far the worst experience. After 21 hours, the game is still unusable. The game itself is good, but this issue is too much

What an utter lie. Queues were in the thousands, queue numbers were literally counting in reverse, rubberbanding like hell, mounts unusable.

What world are you even living in?

“Longer than expected” - I’ve been sitting in the city for 10 minutes now, trying to load into the next area

It s a bit unreal that we have no updates for more than 12h and the issues are still the same

Epoch stans were the one trashing D4 every chance they got thinking they had the perfect game, perfect devs, blizz is trash, d4 is trash and here we are now saying “welll wellllll blizz has more money though!” No thats not the point, they pre sold 1 million copies and what they were surprised they had 100,000 connections? What exactly were they expecting? Stop moving the goal posts, its been 20+ hours and it still takes 45 seconds to load into any zone or door lol

What do you mean more weight? Did I say otherwise?

I meant I can empathize more easily with devs facing these problems, because I’ve been in their shoes. Nobody’s trying to legitimize problems, of course it sucks.

But as humans, we could do with a bit more empathy and respect.

It’s a fucking video game. There are million others waiting for you while this is being solved. It’s not a big deal.

today things got extra bad

30 years of gaming and you still don’t know how to spell launch, experience or hour? This is the ‘worst’ spelling on the forums at this point.

why couldn’t you create PTR so that D-3 and test for a week or more??

No it didn’t. Why are people feeling the need to lie when everyone knows its false? Aren’t you ashamed? Were you even there? Are you ok?

Well was able to play until a total of 4 people joined the server…Now its broke.

this has nothing to do with being human. A corporation doesn’t need your empathy, they are not an individual. This is not a civil rights case, this is a business transaction.

Looks EU will be again offline / unavailable for most part of the day.

The thing is, they all just went home yesterday and left it in a state of crap. Before anyone jumps on me, I’m not saying they should work 48 hours in a row without sleep, but jebus, they shot out a discord quip at 9pm my time (it’s 8am now) about how hard they worked, and went radio silent within 9 hours of a disastrous launch while the problems were obviously not fixed. That’s not transparency. From Big Bad Blizzard to Wolcen there have been launch issues, but I don’t recall any of them essentially saying ‘Eff it, it’s Miller Time, catch y’all laters, we set an alarm if the servers die’
Regardless of the size of the company (I’m sure of the 90ish people there are localization, finance, admin personnel people that take up a chunk of that), they couldn’t figure out a shift work scenario with an overnight team if a community relations point, a couple people who have some backend competence if the servers die et.al.? On the official launch of their only product? They didn’t think to provide long term solutions to possible problems? Palestron’s review predicted outages and server failures, maybe he’s the one content creator they didn’t sponsor, but this company clearly isn’t ready for prime time
