And here’s another one who thinks this is normal. Bullshit. This should never be accepted as the norm.
Offline characters indeed can never convert to online
Ok, so I guess I might as well wait until servers are up. I only want to play online mode.
I feel for the team. You all are doing good work putting out a fire on launch day. You made a good product - people want to play it.
Remember even the negative posts means people care. Better than launching a product to crickets haha
While there is no legislation for a multi billionaire business to protect the consumer, companies will do how they please, if there were heavy fines to pay, this would never happen again, but the studios knows that gamers are a push over community so this will go on.
hi,
I know you’re in the middle of a busy day, and I wish you all the best. But I wanted to express my sadness at not being able to enjoy a game I love, and for which I’ve been waiting for the real launch for a long time (bought 4 years ago, 1300h of gameplay). Sincèrement bon courage mais faites vite x).
New update out now! I was able to enter fortress gardens.
got the new update, created a new char, but stuck at the old road loading screen
They’ve gone and done the one thing that would hurt their game the most, a garbage failed launch.
The LE-61 is gone!
yeah for YOU maybe!
dont worry, im sure you’ll get stuck in an endless loading screen and you’ll be right back with us lol.
Well I spent my time waiting on the servers crafting an image and backstory for my Falconer.
Sylvana and Razorwing
Yes I know Razorwing isnt the most unique and original name for bird companion but I like it.
Sylvana was born into a humble village on the edge of the Cursed Forest, a realm whispered to be both enchanted and cursed. Her early years were marked by an insatiable curiosity and a penchant for mischief, qualities that often led her into the deeper, forbidden parts of the woods. It was during one such foray that she encountered Razorwing, then but a fledgling falcon, ensnared in the cruel grip of a hunter’s trap. Sylvana’s heart swelled with compassion, and with gentle hands, she freed the bird, nursing it back to health. A bond was forged in that moment, unbreakable and profound. Razorwing became her eyes in the sky, her companion in solitude, and her ally in adventure.
As Sylvana grew, so did her skills in stealth and subterfuge. She learned the secrets of the forest, the language of the wind, and the whispers of the shadows. She became a rogue not out of choice but necessity, as the tyranny of a distant empire reached even her secluded village. When oppressive taxes crushed her people, she struck back, pilfering from the empire’s caravans and redistributing the wealth to her kin. Sylvana became a legend, a ghost in the trees, known only by the token she left behind: a feather, red as the setting sun.
Yet, her actions did not go unnoticed. A ruthless bounty hunter was dispatched, a man whose heart had long turned to stone. Their game of cat and mouse spanned across kingdoms, through shadowed woods and over snow-capped mountains. But in every encounter, Sylvana was always one step ahead, her plans as intricate and unpredictable as the forest itself. It was during their final confrontation that Sylvana saw the torment in her pursuer’s eyes, a reflection of her own loneliness and desire for freedom. In a daring act of compassion, she offered him a choice: to continue living as a pawn or to forge a new path together, as allies.
Reluctantly, he accepted, and together with Razorwing, they embarked on a journey that would become legend. Sylvana’s acts of defiance grew bolder, challenging not just the empire but the very fate the gods had woven for her. However, fate had different plans for the ex bounty hunter, as he was slain by the one who hired him for not completing the job. Afterwards, she sought ancient artifacts, hidden knowledge, and the power to change the world and revenge. But at the heart of every quest, beyond the thrill of adventure and the lust for treasure, Sylvana sought something more elusive: a place to belong, a family to call her own.
And so, the legend of Sylvana and Razorwing spread, a tale of courage, friendship, loss and the relentless pursuit of freedom. They were a beacon of hope in a world shrouded in darkness, a reminder that even the smallest light can pierce the night.
I would love to see a LE-61 related companion.
this thread is 80% children crying about a successful small team of developers working nonstop since the update to try and fix the servers but don’t understand common sense. 24 devs vs 150k players is probably overwhelming and stressful but cut them some slack most AAA studios would tell you to fuck off for a week. there highest player count before today was 40k players back in March of 2023 they never expected quadruple the player count.
Nice!
Seems like US server wasn’t working so i tried EU server and it worked
Playing without issue for 20+ mins over here, game is wonderful
im stuck on the infinite loading screen
Thank you all for hard work, i can play well now, thanks a lot and how you guys, and how they managed to make last epoch so good, it was worth buying this game 2 years ago.
