1.0 Server Status Thread

Looks like it works for me (non-offline mode)!

No longer getting LE-61 at keepers’ camp, but now infinitely loading.

EDIT: woops, spoke too soon. Still LE-61.

Devs monitoring stability while most players cant even get past character screen and get in the game

You can, you just have to request the refund differently people did the same for Wolcen when it had issues on launch as long as you explain to support the reason for those hours and make them aware of the server outage with facts they should refund. I wouldn’t blame anyone for wanting to refund, they explicitly stated that they would have have a 24h server downtime to fix the issues and prepare for launch and they do not have the product READY at launch so really its on them for making people have those expectations.

Hm…my old non cycle char just logged in … seems to be a cycle issue.

Monitoring stability from the summit, i got you dude

well duh… almost no one is playing on the legacy servers…

Stuck on connecting for a few minutes then drops. Can’t get in to play.

Fix your servers. It’s not f2p. People PAID for this.
Offline mod is not an excuse.

Well… good for me then  I assume falconer it there available also

yeah, i still can’t even get past the character screen with “enter game”, just “connecting” for like 2-5min and then “LE-61 failed to matchmake”

i cant log in lmao wth is going on its been 6h

Have you never played a game that just launched with an online service? This is pretty normal

me and like 10 other people are just stuck trying to enter fortress gardens lol

i want to play right now lmao

devs pls fix ur shit

Surely you would take the number of pre-purchased players and multiply that by like 10+ and use that as a rough guide for how many players you need to be able to support on an online only game?

If you are going to run an online only service the servers should be optimized for this kind of load. Too many big dev games releasing at the moment with crap server services. As a network engineer it’s really not that hard to build an infrastructure that supports this amount of load - the devs are just trying to maximize profit margins at the expense of the users.

6 hours down the line, if I was in the CEO’s shoes, I would be saying spend some dosh and get it fixed QUICK. Expand the server capacity 10 fold. I assume it is a cloud hosted service so pay AWS or whoever for more capacity and make the game functional. It doesn’t need to be perfect but I am sure all the refunds will be cutting into that profit margin aggressively.

Thinking that this is normal is a delusion that keeps it happening

It is pretty normal actually

Maybe I’m just a jaded cynic but I don’t understand how anyone could reasonably take a company’s word that the launch is going to go smoothly. Ideally we could, right, but realistically when has a launch gone to plan? Diablo 4 was fairly painless. Diablo 3 was a nightmare. Outriders was a dumpster fire that deleted your saves if you somehow managed to get in.

I won’t chastise you for being mad at EHG and I won’t say y’all are whining in your posts. I get the frustration and it sucks that we’re at the point where a laundry list of rough launches exist. I’m just surprised that people have such a surprised vehement response.

Don’t need to be an Oracle from Rome to see anticipate a shitshow.
