I’m convinced this PORKCHOPMCGEE clown has to be an EHG employee or affiliate. He literally lives 24/7 in this forum to attack anyone who doesn’t have their lips around EHG’s duck. He seems to have endless time to defend this game. Just imagine if someone decides to start a class action lawsuit and investigators exposed him as such… that would be the nail in the coffin for EHG.
but yet they would still be playing
hes def one of the devs just raging that he failed
The best thing that you could do is just ignore him. He’s desperate for attention, so don’t provide any.
wish they at least let us transfer the online character to offline
HAHAHA…yes, and Trump is a stable genius…
you are not online… you are a smurf!!!

Hey everyone, in about 10 minutes we’ll be pushing a backend deploy that targets our transitions times. There will be no downtime during this initial push, however players may notice some instability while the fix rolls out.
thats good news. hopefully it address the issue. The game deserve better state
What???
awh, so triggered to write a whole paragraph.
i find it fun to come here and put crybabies in check
This is according to I have a problem with the selected architectural variant of the solution.
It is simply not efficient and scalable (docker on VM CE, even with Load Balancing… CDN in front of the gate server and, consequently, the data bus, is not enough for human DDOS.
BTW, I have no complaints. I have been trying for 4 days and objectively this whole situation is a properly managed disaster. It’s impossible to prepare for human DDos once. Two, I have the impression that we are all ignoring a very important aspect of the whole situation. 11 Hour has no experience or budget for experiments, and simply setting up subsequent instances of Docker with an app or vm with a bus engine and API will do nothing without a plan. And this takes time.
P.S. I wish the entire 11 Hour team success in rebuilding the server part.
P.S.2 I have the impression that the problems are at all layers of the server part and while the network part is working, the content manager (the process of logging in and queuing logins and auth) is not. Like transport layer servers (mq or kafka?) and queues, as well as instance servers.
I wish you good luck in properly diagnosing the underlying problem.
Correct, when I was still working in IT development, the loudest complainers were the last to be served. Thats the power of admin rights
Oh, there are you again, my master. Sorry, I was distracted by playing that game you hate so much!
Good luck to the dev team ! Sad to wait but it will be worth it ! Be brave devs you can do it
What???
I apologize if my post came across wrong, just reacted to the “full game is available at will” part.
But I agree with you that fixes takes time, and nothing happens just by snapping our finger. And often when something doesn’t work as advertised and you spent money on it, and you have been looking forward to it, people sometimes stop to really think, myself included, and demand things to be fixed.
I wasn’t around the era of floppy disk or cds, but I could image that games released back then was thoroughly tested before going to “print”.
But anyways, I do enjoy this game, just very disappointed on how the launch has been handled.
For me the thing that stings, is the boasting prior to the launch and the subpar communication from the EHG.
I would have more understanding and happily waited another week, if they have gone out and said, that a big mistake was done and we are not ready yet.
And like you mention, take it down and do a re-launch.
karen syndrome is a real problem now a days sadly
Yeah, look in a mirror.
You have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about.
