I think you need to bifurcate the i/o stream at the connection multiplexor, otherwise the packet latency will oscillate due to client concurrency slippage. Overcoming tri-variable uncertainty in the source address lookup tables can be tricky if the inbound timestamps overlap at the picosecond level. Good luck!

They sold more than milion copies, expecting more than a milion players doesnāt make sense. Like bro, up to like two years ago PoE had problems with: crashes, queues, disconnects, lags and everything possible on league starts even though the game had more than 10 years.

No, cause it is like separate instances. You can connect to another gate like Europe or America, but you cannot exchange chars between offline and online.
You canāt test for 150k people all trying to play at once. Thatās the type of thing you have to learn as it happens unfortunately. Server space isnāt the issue anyway. I apologize for nothing. All Iām saying is that this is what happens typically in 1.0 launches. Everyone acting surprised or outraged is ridiculous. Just shows how spoiled and entitled some people are I guess. Anyhow, enjoy offline if you can. Deuces.

Having a cost efficient architecture is indeed a thing.

You can cheat and add and change items in offline. So no you can not migrate between the two.

This just sucks. As early supporter but also tech engineer myself, you should be able to handle these things with better response time. Itās 2024, game releases are not new.
