the core functionality in this case is the game, which is technically playable.
to fix your analogy, its like driving a car, but the roads no longer exist. you can still do it, it just sucks.

How can you all grill them without any context or professional understanding of the situation? They want it fixed just as bad as we do, if not more. Not simping, just trying to remind everyone that the players and the devs actually have the same goal.

Is there something fundamentally different about scaling in video games? Like, if Amazon gets hammered during Black Friday, they just autoscale and life goes on yeah?
Is there something in spinning up another server or 10 in a game that’s just way way different and somehow insurmountable over several days? Like, just US-West-1/2/…/n?
Cant login as well top EU, US East works until End of time, then you cant teleport anywhere
I understand your point, but the full game is not available to play.
In offline mode, you are not able to play multiplayer, even if you are on the same LAN.
In offline mode, the trade faction is not available.

its sad that is becoming a normality that every game on release has server issues. even more sad is that EHG had this problem one year ago too(check reedit). feels tike they just don’t give a fart about us, just waits for the storm to pass. pretty sure they can afford some extra servers for a month or 2

Still can’t play the game we spent our money on, disappointing. Let me find out they intentionally caused this to happen so they will not have to refund anyone because we will be over the 2 hour playtime stuck in loading screens.
