Shouldnāt the client show if a server is down?
That would go a long way towards making the issue better, at least people could select a server that is up outside their region.
No, itās actually called standards; LE has had server issues for well over a year and it has been documented by community complaints, PoE solves their issues within a few days or less or better yet has virtually no issues for the majority while it has been 5 days and counting.
I work for one of the largest HCMs out there and we rarely experience such outages. Itās called having standards. I know itās a hard concept for you to understand, but also to the point you probably have zero clue as to what your friend is talking about because you only listen at a surface level; thereās a difference between your friendās app blowing up versus the bankās internal system blowing up and that comes down to standards and not all banks are created equal just like not all devs are created equal. Sort of like how we donāt have outages, but the banks and providers beneath us do.
The issue really is that EHG came in this with overconfidence and their own posts admit to such. And whether or not people have a clue doesnāt matter because the product needs to work for the end user and it doesnāt.

If login is stuck in loading change region to either US Central or Asia and try login in, after successful login go to Settings and change to your own region. Hopefully the login problem will be completely fixed next week. The game is amazing at the moment, not as good as PoE but PoE had years of development and GGG are no longer a small indie game company. Given time this game can grow to rival PoE.

Well, I was supporting priority black systems. That means 1 hour max unavailability 24/7, and manual defined backup procedures. Some chemical plants really donāt like not being controlled. I can assure you, our function tests were automated and bulletproof. Our IT alone had 2000 people. But that is also the reason, none would be crazy enough to place that on a cloud solution, where every drunken excavator driver can cut the connection. But those systems donāt have 100000 users logging in the same time. I was part of the beta load test and it worked fine. But you never can test 100 times load in a distributed system in advance. And Iām sure your company does not have 100000 users at same time. Well, we had 10000 on out ERP sytems. But even there: You get the sevice you pay for. And 35$ was for 15 minutes

Iām playing again on EU, just took 5 whole minutes to load EoT
and You whine and complain over a video game. how sad is that. making it your whole world. surely you got real problems to contend with in your personal life that should take priority over a video game. but please keep going with the whining, its not gonna make them fix anything faster.
No updates today. I hope they took some well-deserved rest after the successful launch. Weāll be back next week guys, EU maybe on TODO list to fix

It seems to me that āmaybeā 15% of the player base has an issue not being able to play at all. Have these people tried making adjustments to their VPN/Antivirus protocols? I guarantee my PC is way more outdated than 95% of the people trying to login. I can load the game fine.
And you make D riding the devs yours, stop attaching your personal worth with this fail of a launch by the devs. itās not you who failed itās them so stop defending them around every corner while they flop.
