A technical information devs do not provide us, despite the fact they’re acting like there is a proper communication about this problem.

Just saying ā€œIt’s not a scaling issueā€ when everything leads to it, won’t convice me. Why servers are ok during nights ? Why acting like this problem is new when obviously it’s not ? Why not… try ?

I work in IT. If I have a bug in prod, I have to work during weekend. And i’m not a company. But I won’t blame devs. I blame the company, their product, and their communication. Not human beings.

WTF is this ? 66.000 in a q on EU servers ? maybe its finally worth to decide to force refund if this game is actually making same mistakes like Lost Ark at release, which BTW cost them a lot of player loss…

they should work ever fcking day if their game is causing so much issues for people who decide to bought it! meanwhile before weekend they only fixed US servers and nothing else …

So now I’m stuck in a 40k queue? Great, just great just the icing on the sht cake.

Scroll up, there’s a workaround.

I’m a dev myself for over 10+ years, we don’t work at all on the weekends, if it’s broken we patch so its ā€œworking whether manual working, or automatedā€ Since automation here doesn’t work its manual, until automation is fixed.

There is no ā€œBugā€ in LE unless youi talk about the crash probably due to an exception based on a memory issue.

Dev’s dont work on weekends or evenings.

They have 90+ members all over the world - Whichever timezone you look at it’s still weekend.

The company isnt at fault, there is realistically no way to test a large product like this in dev env unless you spin up a million virtual machines to test the throughput of each ā€œcontainerā€ as they previously mentioned.

But still this wouldn’t give a true estimation of their capabilities.

The game is 95%+ efficient except the loading times, which is the gateway of one container connecting to another.

You might be a dev, but a dev with 1-2 years experience, probably just a fullstack developer wouldn’t know anything about what goes into a game, especially one that is an ARPG.

I clearly have no needs to prove anything to you, ā€œlil homieā€.
But as senior and experimented major gigachad dev, can you answer these simple questions :
Why servers are ok during nights ? So why saying ā€œit’s not the serverā€ when obviously it is ? How other companies doing the same thing ? Are game so special that they can’t manage a classic production developpement ? Cause, you know, you don’t need billions of VM to have a proper deploiement. That’s not how test, scaling test, works. Why acting like this problem is new when obviously it’s not, when it was in beta ? When, no matter what you’re saying, they sayd they did proper tests to this scale, but as far I know, game was laggy before 1.0, how they’re test were ok when it can’t ? Why saying there will try things to fix the problem, but instead adding a queue without noticing anyone ?

So ā€œlil homieā€, why attacking me instead of responding my message ? Anything to prove ? We don’t even care if you or me are devs. We are customers. And the product they delivered doesn’t work. Why ?

You have doctors, nurses, emergency services, pharmacists, dental assistants…

All these people don’t operate the same, or do on-call duty. Just because your company doesn’t is no standard for the rest of the field.

It’s EHG’s first game, it’s pretty anticipated, all their income hinges on the success of the release. I would be surprised if they really didn’t have anyone working on it during the week-end.

If you read my original post, I’ve said that I won’t point out human beings. I’m criticizing a product. Not human beings, I won’t be harsh with anybody.

But you’re right, we don’t care if we’re devs or not. As a customer, I need some answers, that’s it.

I know they are indie company. I’m asking questions about their communication, I’m not threatening anyone, and I treat them as a company which sold me a product, nothing more, nothing less. I’m not upset, and we both want the game to be fixed.

If you work on the weekends, you should not be able to make an MR unless you have an approval or a few…

I wouldnt trust you in the slightest…

If you cannot answer any of those questions, I’d rather enjoy the game than enjoy this back and forward with someone who is clearly dense…

In Beta they never once… had over 65k players at once…

I tried it and it didn’t work. I don’t know if its placebo or an actual fix but for me it just does not work… In fact restarting just upped my queue its 80k now…

Honestly I would have rather had the super long loading zones than deal with this…

Hmm, Sunday 2:26 p.m. and I’m in a queue at position 78446 - really now?!
Honestly! They screwed it up tremendously.
Let them shove the Ultimate update down their throats unless I get it returned on Steam, but this launch defies description.
It ends somewhere. I’ll throw the game off the disk now and take care of D4 and Nightingale.

try setting your server to US east on the login, then ā€œexit to desktopā€ load back up

your setting should be US east - should be no queue for now

I see what you mean now, when you login to character select/settings there is option to change server back to EU, thanks much appreciated!
