Not really, i just switched from EU to US East and got the some spot in the queue.
Update: If you exit the game client and then switch e.g. to US East it worked for me as well, no queue.

dont push button
choose - US
push button
change it to eu in game
done

Four days of problems with the transition and now endless waiting times when logging in?
I now needed 30 minutes for 2000 (out of 12000) places in the queue. Should I wait another 2.5 hours?

i did. but it says preferred region. its orange but it feels snappy so i’m happy atm. tnx again for your time.

Ok, US works … they are all asleep yet
I don’t mind a queue…
But a 28k queue that moves 100 every 30 minutes is just not doable…
Exit your game, change the server to us and u can log in insta. After that just change back to eu in game.
