Hello, it’s me again talking about the campaign.
Played through it twice after 0.9 now, and I have to say the changes have been globally very positive.
Thank you and well done to the “writing” team (or whatever you call them. Storytellers?).

Obviously, voice acting is a great addition. Both the quantity and quality have greatly improved, well done.

The new windows while chatting with a NPC are also a big step forward in making them feel more real. I believe we have more dialogue options as well, another good thing. Next step, cutscenes with our character involved?

More important: some changes in the story dialogues are really good, you are going in the right direction. Explaining a lot better what is going on while remaining mysterious enough. For example, the various chats with Yulia in the Imperial Era. Or the knight and Gaspar at End of Time. Even better, I love the more subtle hints, like the undead telling us that Zerrick doesn’t like to talk about his life in old Majelka… Great work generally, those are small details but they give the story more depth.
For the “negative” part of the feedback, not much to say.
I don’t like that we have huge pointers for quests leading to the exact location, but it has always been like that (and sadly that is the case in most modern games). I would prefer being sent to a general area and having at least a little bit of looking around to do.
Worst example of that (and new with 0.9) in the quest Heoborean Cure. We used to have a specific mob to kill for each ingredient needed. That made sense. Now the quest ticks as soon as we set one foot in the zone.
So, once again, thank you for a great job, storytellers.
Keep it up, leave the debugging to the technical teams and focus on bringing us a complete, even more lively and interactive story as soon as possible!
