LOL wow. The game is good it is a server issue. You can play OFFLINE. Which would prove how good the game is. But we can see all you want to do is complain and get people’s comments. POE and D4 have had their own issues as well. While I agree this shouldn’t be the norm for gaming is happens. And many people are playing and enjoying. So give a little time, play offline, or refund and leave.

offline mode doesn’t fix all the problems. In offline mode i still have long loading screen.
Oh, and i can move my character when i’m in loading screen, i hear it running, casting spells, and even talking to npc. So i’m very interesting about this loading screen and how it works, if my character is already moving.
It’s comical. You could take the forums from any game on release day/week, copy and paste them into another game’s forums on their release day/week, and it wouldn’t matter.
And there’s STILL people that take they day off on release day.

Release has failed hard, especially for new players who came to give it the first try.
Players who were playing it before know that game is worthy but i understand the feel of newcomers here.

I mean you can just wait til it dies down and the servers are stable for you to play. No need to force it day one week one.
Helldivers 2 is having issues as well at the moment.
Really it’s not that complicated patience is a virtue we seem to be severely lacking in these days.
I feel like people already forgot like when the entire sony network went down. Or major MMOs had 24hr+ down times.
This message was written while playing last epoch so I mean it’s playable.
Will I get disconnected this weekend yeah probably if it happens I’ll take a break maybe play some ow2 get lunch maybe do some relink or reload and check back a bit later.
You’re not locked into the game play some PoE or D4 in the meantime and check back

Maybe just wait, give it a day or 2 to get the connection issues resolved, actually play the game and THEN grade it? Grading it over, pretty common, launch day connectivity issues is as moronic as you’re accusing everyone else of being.

Mate, the second the launcher pops up, there’s a message on top saying the servers are borked.
If you can only be bothered to play online, god knows why, that’s your queue to go do something else. Otherwise you’ll be fighting something completely out of control, and unfortunately this thread is the result.
Or, you can be the smart guy and instead of rushing your mouse to “login”, click the buttom right below it “Play Offline”. Fantastic game mode, really, truly revolutionary in current times, I don’t even know where they came up with that idea. Exactly the same game, minus a bunch people spamming global and server issues.
Its understandable to be frustrated because of server issues and crashes, but even larger companies have problems with servers all the time. It should be expected almost for any launch of a new game. Offline mode is available to build a character and get used to the game while the online mode is still being fixed.

So play the game in offline mode? Unlike other games of this type (or any type these days) this game has an actual offline mode. You won’t be able to utilize the marketplace faction, buy/use MTX cosmetics and characters in offline mode are separate from online forever but other than those 3 things you could enjoy the game fine in offline mode and if you like it create a new character in online mode when the server issues get resolved.

Tbh. I don’t know what this game did but this is the most vitriolic I’ve ever seen people about servers. I’ve seen other games get defended for literal weeks through server issues and this game isn’t even fully down and it’s receiving pretty intense backlash.
Almost feels manufactured.
Good thing you didn’t play when Path of Exile launched.
This game is great. Startup problems were expected. This is probably clear to every normal player. I know it’s bad. But you can play offline and don’t cry about those servers. Rate the game 1/10 because of the launch? Seriously?
Yep - it was what I expected. I gambled on D4 and took the “$100 edition” long weekend off from work and it actually paid off. I didn’t do the same for LE because this is EHG’s first launch. Even though the company kept saying it was ready my assumption was that it’d have issues and it is having those.
I played some last night, some tonight, and now I’m killing some time before bed and if issues persist Saturday I’ll play a different game and patiently wait. In the grand scheme of ARPG ./timeplayed if they’re good - having to wait a bit is something I’ve learned to do over the decades
