Personally I believe the best response to this would to make the shards go directly into the shard storage on pick-up. I like the crafting system, only con is the forge potential restraint other than that its a solid crafting experience.

It feels amazing to press the button send to stash. It’s cathartic.
A better option is to explain it better. Best of both worlds.

I agree but I do wish they would stack in your inventory when collected.
