i am trying to run Warden’s echo passive with Manastrike that has an lightning tag.
But the Tooltip that displays when hovering Warden’s echo and pressing ALT is Fire burst, not a lightning aoe…

Currently the tooltip for Warden’s Echo in the passive tree defaults to showing Fire Burst. I can confirm that the proper element tag is being applied, so in your case using Manastrike will proc Lightning Burst with lightning tag.
We are still working to improve the UX in regards to cases like these.
