Besides that Hammer Throw is a Throwing Attack (not melee) and Void Hammer Throw is a DoT that similarly to Echoes scales with Dmg over Time and not Crit or +melee dmg.
What I’m saying is that, if on my VK I am putting +melee void damage +melee crit chance %inc melee damage and the like, some skills like Echoes (spell dot) and Hammer Throw (Throwing dot) have no benefit from it
I use Hammer Throw with orbiting and echo chances can lead to quite a huge DPS
So its neither a caster focus, nor a Melee or even a Hyrbrid.
So my Hammer Throw VK disagree with the statement “VK feels like a caster spec”
My build focus on throwing as much stuff as possible (Axe throw from the sentinel) and stack throw damage+void damage.
Since HT doesn’t change its Dmg type, it scales with both Physical and void increases.
No need of any type of DoT boost
