I have an interesting idea, us players have 1000s if not 10s and thousands of affix shards, glyphs, runes we dont need and i think it would be a cool idea if we could trade them to a special vendor for legendary runes glyphs or shards. That way we have a use for all our thousands of common crafting mats that are collecting dust in our inventories 
Edit: i forgot to mention in poe 2 theres is a economy system where u can trade your mats for the market price without needing to trade with players. I think EHG should do something similar it would be badass
Mike already talked about something like this a few years ago (a bit after 1.0, irrc). We’d be able to trade runes/glyphs/shards for others at a loss. Something like trading 100 int shards for 10 strength ones. Or, more likely, something like 200 int shards for 5 +skill level shards or something.
Nothing came of it so far, though.
Oh really i just think it would be cool to have a use for all my shattering runes that i dont need for example

Have you ever played that roulette after the boss? Did you find anything worthwhile?
If instead of gold, you could upgrade it with shards, runes, or glyphs, it would become a more exciting casino.
Players have nothing to lose, and they can spend their extra resources.
