The umbral blades node called “Cacophony of Steel” only lets you have two bladestorms active concurrently instead of the three that the node promotes.
The skill without the “Twilight Assault” node only lets you throw 2 knives before recalling them. However, if you have that node, you can get 3 Bladestorms active at the same time as you’ll have the ability to throw 3 knives before recalling.
