Ok so this takes a bit of explaining but basically, Umbral blades recall feature can be delayed to allow you to throw more blades out to allow you to pull more back at once.
You cast it to the max until you get to the recall function icon, then add Umbral blades back to your bar on another slot, cast it from that slot again and you can throw out a whole nother set of blades before you pull all of them back.
