I do the useual. As soon as a game forces me to sub to whomever for whatever they don’t see another dime from me.
using these tactics to make people subscribe to something to get something in gameing are even worse then lootboxes for me. That’s just my personal oppinion and my way to handle such practices.
So that’s a no to subscription games & that’s it? 'Cause LE doesn’t “force you” to sub at all.
They aren’t forcing you to do anything. MTX aren’t required to play the game. And there are still plenty of MTX available.
I have spent years without joining any twitch drops campaign (including the 1.1 season one, which also had twitch drops) and I never felt like I’ve missed out on anything.
And the only reason I did it this time for LE is because I enjoy Aaron’s channel and I don’t mind supporting him. Otherwise I would have skipped this campaign like I did all others.

Bad choice of words 
. They use FOMO tactics and put stuff behind a subscription on a third party site. So if I want it I’m forced to pay money to a random pleb on the internet. That’s not my jam.

Still they work with a psychological tactiv I’m not a fan of. Sure they help out streamers with this and they get money out of this kind of deal. To me it looks like game publishers need to give an incentive to streamers to even touch their product. While this is most likely not the only reason why people stream LE it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
For me personaly this is just some shady buissnes and I always skip that kind of stuff. I went from “Give me the biggest support pack!” to “Nah I’m good!” as soon as I’ve seen the twitch drops.
It’s not a big deal in the big picture I get it but for me personaly it’s just… distastefull.
They could change this in a siple matter and give out cosmetics early if you sub to a twitch streamer and resell them a season later so noone feels the need to pay whomever instead of EHG directly. So early birds can sub if they want to help out a streamer and want some cosmetic and people who don’t care about streamers but want the cosmetic are good as well.
