So they need to condense the difficulty ramping to be more in line with what an acceptable duration and difficulty of an arena run should be. So they could make incremental adjustments over time until it arrived at that healthy balance
Perhaps they need to adjust the checkpoint system from only half of your completed previous waves. Whatever, I’m sure there are some novel solutions that could be implemented with some thought and effort.
Reguardless, im tired of writing these long paragraphs about a part of the game nobody seems to care about, and the dev’s probably don’t even read. I’m probably going to stop wasting my effort soon and just play some PoE2.
I said my part and explained why, I don’t want to be like a broken record repeating the same things over and over. Maybe there is some tiny chance a dev reads these and takes these ideas as a discussion point to the rest of the team, and maybe we might get some traction or some changes.
But I foresee the future patches just going to be more of the same as before.
And im just tired.

It’s honestly not that surprising. The writing was on the wall. The community defends the bad systems and decisions and I don’t see it ever getting better. Especially with every decision being filtered through Krafton. (As far as we know. The game still hasn’t made a profit even after the aquisition)
The whole debate about trade for years before the game came out was emblematic of how the game was gonna be going forward and it basically doomed its future prospects. Constantly alienating people and bitter/spiteful arguments that turn people off from the game and community.
The people who were invested for years already before the release will stick around even if the game dies. (as in the people who I still recognize on this forum from years ago who reply to every single post) But I don’t see the game lasting for more than a few more seasons. They could 100% turn it around though but it would require changes they don’t want to do. Half the games problems are caused by constant discussion about what should be done instead of actually doing anything. The game could just lose another large chunk of players and go into maintenance mode for a long time.
I cam back to the game hoping something might have changed by now but if anything. Things have just gotten worse

I’m not completely boered right now so playing LE isn’t on the table. I don’t care much about anything they added. The balance is most likely still a joke. So no reason to play LE for me personaly.
Who the hell are you to judge what gives dopamine and to whom? Maybe you’re the lonely one with a sad life, getting your dopamine from mowing the lawn and maybe it’s your receptors that are messed up.
