That Poison Nemesis Doesn't Work For This System (Losing Items)

Clean the area around Nemesis to ensure an uninterrupted fight and inventory interaction. This way you have clear sight, very little offscreen effects and any Wengari Spire’s pools are easily spotted.

I just teleport out of these maps immediately and reset them. You don’t lose the reward why do badly designed overtuned broken mechanics when I don’t have too. Until they remove them that is the answer.

This would be ideal but many times soon as you are clicking on it any spire immediately drops on you and the boss. Just get spires outta the game please and thanks.

Also there is a long list of mobs that off screen you. I’ll be looking at the Egg and selecting an item to put in and im dying to some type of damage off screen. Interacting with that screen should pause every creature.

With that said why are monsters off screening me to begin with? Again if it’s not on my screen it shouldn’t be doing damage to me. It’s a very simple concept.

Also way way to many monsters create ground puddles, just stop. It really makes you not want to play Last Epoch. I really worry about the future of the game in it’s current condition, this is also probably why the game is dead right now.

If they don’t change the spire thing, there is one solution that is destroy the spires first then activate Nemesis or Mage.
I was also killed by spires while fighting against Nemesis and Mages, so now I only destroy the spires first before I activate them.

I just can’t resist the challenge. Well, I still play below 300 corruption, though.

Abom would rather bitch about something being “badly designed overtuned broken mechanics” rather than slow down a nanosecond because something might be dangerous.

I’m honestly very confused. He comports himself like a leet skilled gamer, but the moment something “challenging” (ie, requires him to slow down & not instantly annihilate it) comes up he’s straight in the forums complaining that it’s too difficult. I’d have thought he’d have relished the “challenging” of moving out of stupid.

Slowing down is the antithesis of “Action” it just doesn’t really make sense in a game like this. It’s just odd design decisions. One shots. Over tuned damage. Weird boss fights that most players don’t like. I mean, at some point the reality is that all the people who leave this game are just correct. When no one is playing, that’s the only logical conclusion.

3.9K current users. 4.3K max in the last 24h. The number is just going down. A new cycle or patch just isn’t gonna bring people back this time. We know the faults of the game.

I don’t think spires are challenging they are just annoying bad design. So I skip them. With that said I usually play in the 1k corruption range because you should be between 700-1k corruption farming. The sweet spot to play. Some of these bad broken or overtuned mechanics are even worse there.

Thank you for stating this even though it should be obvious to everyone. Last Epoch is a dead game right now. I’m sorry but 3k concurrent players is NOT it. Meanwhile PoE just had it’s most successful league. Even D4 is improving and drawing in players.

LE has to adapt and listen to players that left the game not the small echo chamber that thinks the game is fine. This should also seem obvious. LE despite it’s problems has potential and it’s just sad that hardly anyone is playing it right now.

If nothing changes then nothing changes.

I won’t come back next cycle if they don’t fix the core game. It doesn’t matter what new content they add. If Favor farming, factions grinds, MG, Temporal Sanctum/Crafting, the economy, and the systems in this game can’t be fixed and improved. Then why come back. There are just other games to play and that’s what everyone is doing right now.

The people praising this game are the folks experiencing sunk cost fallacy. They’ve already given the devs tons of money, and have those fancy tags and in-game titles. However, everyone else has moved on. We post the reason we dislike the game and are met by a bunch of sycophants who try to rationalize how all the systems work just fine and it’s a “skill” issue or a “you” issue, even though the community has abandoned this game.

POE2 is coming up quickly, and that’s likely to be a final nail in the coffin if the devs don’t adjust their balancing approach and weird dark souls boss system. LE just has very little content, and the content available is either punishingly hard with no real reward, or just frustrating when you slam items that don’t work out. The entire game can be described as poorly designed. Almost every system they have is just not good. The game is super grindy (which is okay for me) but the grind doesn’t reward the player by making the game easier.

There’s just not much reason to have hope for this game. The devs are basically silent. Game can be said to be a failure at this point. Single player is stupid because you can never get max gear. (LP4 is literally impossible to get for some stupid reason) The online side is boring because there’s no reason to play together. Whole game is a head scratcher.

3.7K current users. and continuing downward. My guess is that by next cycle we will have about 1K users playing and will see a jump to 10K which drops back to 3-4K after a week or two. They lost the hype by releasing the game a year too early. Further, they didn’t take feedback from the community. People have been pointing out the bad design for years now.
