When used, I can see the health recovery from Shadow Recuperation but no mana is being recovered from Swift Recovery.
Is the health recovery bringing you above half health? If you are using this above half health, the mana cost from Shift will actually be more than the mana that will be refunded. This means you are still losing mana on cast, but it’s mitigated. You only gain mana when you are below half health.

You’re correct. For some reason I thought Shift was 0 Mana.
