Instead, it cast Aspect of the Lynx.
I haven’t been able to reproduce the issue; this is a bug that was fixed in 0.8.4c. Are you on the latest patch, 0.8.4f? If so, can you provide any additional details and post a player log from a session when it happened?

Ive managed to reproduce the squirrel issue and another entangling roots costing 80 mana bug cast via Werebear Woodland Bear node
