Not sure if this is a bug, so just putting this in General. But I have multiple characters that are no longer Hardcore and haven’t been for dozens of levels. But I can only chat in Hardcore chat it seems. Could you add a way to change to SC chat for my no-longer-HC characters? I don’t want to remake a lvl 90 character just to have chat.
Chat isn’t split between hc & sc as far as I’m aware.
I have the same problem, made a HC character that died and became SC but everyone in my chat is HC and get an error when I try to party with anyone because of different game modes. I don’t see why HC and SC would be combined, if you join HC you’d be in HC chat and vice versa for SC.
You may want to post a bug report - the above quote is from the 0.9.1b patch and if you are right it might not be working.
