Respec allows locked skills from other masteries

I have loaded a Shaman from before the Druid rework.
While preparing his new build, I found some things irregular.
See the planning attached.

The build is playable. I can activate the Swarmblade form and play it, even though I am a Shaman.
Player.log (55.8 KB)

How did you get Swarmblade Form equipped? I don’t see how that’s possible from the build guide you’ve provided. Providing the exact steps would be very helpful for understanding the issue. Thanks!

On an unrelated note, is your Social window (H) empty? I see an error that might be related to that in your log file.

Before the Druid patch, it was a “standard” Shaman.
I stopped playing him for a while.
Today I opened him, and of course all the Passive points were removed and available.
I simply put enough points in the Druid mastery and it unlocked Swarmblade.

Right now, you can put points into non-specced masteries (say, a beast master speccing into druid), you can spec into points beyond the chain. So, the Beastmaster with 25 points into Druid can spec into Swarmblade or Entangling Roots if they put 35 in. This works, to my knowledge, with all masteries currently.

Oh dear, so it does!

The “how many points you’ve put in to the mastery” line stops at the chain, but continuing to add points allows you to unlock the 25+ skills! Tried it on an old Sorc.

Oh, wow!
That’ll lead to several unexpected builds, until we get a fix.

We’re working on a fix for this.
