What’s the point of keeping maximum reliquary scaling with attunement? Nothing on void knight scales with attunement, even smite if used would be changed to vitality scaling with passive tree. Another huge reason to this scaling being converted too is the amount of stat needed between breakpoints. Without conversion every point of attunement still scales damage and is useful. But after conversion you are forced to stack attunement with no returns in between breakpoints. Until you hit 70/140 you get nothing in return. Doesn’t seem to be fair.
I assumed the point was for Paladin which scales to the moon off Attunement.
I league-started pally w/ plan to swap VK later when I get some core pieces…but if it makes you feel any better that sht did zdps.
I used it before I got judgement and was hyped for new shiny skill. Rushed the totem and fire dmg nodes. Swear to god had a rare with what looked like 0 hp left walk out of holy trail…totem shot him…he still lived. W/ holy trail pre-judgement we have a gap in buttons where dropping RL between spears felt like a perfect mix but it did f-all for dmg.
tl:dr - attunement = pally focused. A lot of classes have core skills that’re near useless without a matching mastery, so that’s not new. Feels bad because it’s a new skill, but don’t worry you’re not missing anything
I think EHG just didn’t intend VK Radiant Lance to be played with Golden Reliquary.
Mistia plays Time Rot Radiant lance and did a 1m20s uber Aberroth kill 26 hours into the season, wich seems to be decent when you check his character snapshot at the time of the kill.
The VK would lose the benefit of echoes with the reliquary, so I didn’t consider it an interesting option.
EHG plan to make reliquary able to echo in a future patch :
Thanks.
I might try stacking vit and attunement, then.
Wonder if I can crack the 210 attunement on a voidknight in practice without sacrificing too much scaling power.
