That still requires you to beat the shade with the current modifiers… which shouldn’t be a requirement if your issue is the timeline is bricked for your character.

There needs to be a way to downgrade - period. It is fine to hit a point where your build cannot be successful unless refactored in some manner, but not ok to “lock” a monolith timeline in a state where it cannot be reverted to a point where further grinding can be done to improve. Moving between timelines only helps to some extent but risks eventually getting all timelines to the same point.

This literally exists by way of reset nodes that reduce the corruption if they are too close to the echo web genesis point.

At the same time, you should be aware of what mods you are adding in a high corruption. There are already ways to then decay those stacks of mods already (by literally running any echo in that timeline’s echo web).

Likewise there are ways to deal with this as others have stated: run other timelines, gear up, adjust your build. This thread is circular at this point.
