Player to Player Gifting

Seller will still get there price providing it wasn’t way way off the charts. Those would be shadow banned. It is called play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I’m still shocked how many gamers still think that is air their toon is breathing. If this was implemented right now and the only indication was your buyer not being able to find the item you provided a screenshot of, how would 98 % of the player base know and why would it matter?

No, since no sane person buys a idol which isn’t perfect for 150 mil while the roll just beneath is valued at 100k.

The buyer needs to be one utter idiot to do that.
And since people would list 100k items and the Bazaar could ‘nudge it up’ into perfect this means your 150 mil lucky drop becomes inherently 100k mediocre garbage.

How would you feel when your 150 mil item is likely to turn into a 100k item… and how would you feel if you list a non-perfect item and because it gets uprolled into perfect it gets sniped immediately while you could’ve listed it massively higher?

It’s a loose-loose situation.

Simply a bad recommendation. No way around it sadly. I commend the try though to improve the situation… but this is definitely not the way.

All of what Kulze said. You can’t have a player-driven economy where the game randomly adjusts the items.

I didn’t forget anything, I’m just assuming not all people are redditors and need “/s” at the end of a sentence to recognize sarcasm.
You can just list a trash blue item at some high price and have the gold seller buy it from you.

Not reading through all of this, agree with Ego for sure. I play mostly with people from other countries on diff time zones, we do hours and hours of echos - I mentioned this in dev chat and another forum post. I used an example where my mate got 3 obsidians for me over the course of 2 days or so and I got none. I got tons of golden, he got more. I asked Mike the Dev and he said something like

“progress is shared equally but then the drop chance for obsiaidian is just that, chance” which makes no sense, if something is equal then it should be equal and not luck based specially when you’re spending 18+ hours over 2 days farming.

Mike also said “I dont think obsidian is dropping as intended” in such a way it felt like they knew of a bug but really didn’t give a fk.

Ego’s point is valid, the resonance should definitely be auto pick up in a screen filled of similar colour item drops, spamming effects and monsters trying to kill you it could definitely be missed. It’s also great to help your friends when you arent with them again due to timezones/jobs/real life.

This game seems to almost try push people away from multiplayer with the dungeon door bugs, in ability to do seperate echos when needing to lay maps, the insane chat bug which also affects global, no bonus exp just WAY more mob HP and effects (uber pubbles on multi is craaaazy) and then the broken resonance thing, I’m sure there are more things but basically that’s how it feels “we dont want you playing multi”

End of the season with the true die hards is amazing and fun we’re all teaming up for farming and 4 man ubers etc, the games actually incredible fun when not solo and they should embrace this and give it more love.

Most of the comments in this are hilarious because skim reading the names I know for a fact most people here don’t even play in groups, some of you dont even play much solo if at all. It’s wild that the same 3-4 people have to comment in every fricking thread on these forums and have their 2 cents about things that don’t even affect them or their game play. You’re actually just such horrible negative people creating a space where people don’t post anymore they all go to reddit and I know you’re not there because your comments would get down votes and abuse.

Not revisiting this post that’s for sure. @ResplendentEgo +1 sir.

Well… the post started out well with good points and then you just had to go and make a fool out of yourself, didn’t you?

And Reddit simply doesn’t allow cohesive large posts which go into detail, size limitations. It’s similar to Twitter… sadly often low quality shallow takes without nuance since the limit doesn’t allow for more.

Hence why specific individuals stay in the Forums.

As for ‘those specific names’… maybe read the posts… just saying… you might be very surprised about the information there rather then blindly flailing around. You’ve utterly messed up and attacked the people which are actively on the same side in this topic with you, making a complete clown out of yourself.

Just saying… first informing yourself, then acting… it’s a basis to not afterwards be a laughingstock.

I’m sorry. Are you trying to tell me that reddit doesn’t have negative people? Are you sure you’re talking about the same reddit?

What’s most fun in this take is that the “same 3-4 people” who are all so negative were actually all agreeing with the OP. :man_shrugging:

So, I’ve read through a huge amount of this… And I just want to say I hate the resonance system with a passion. It’s terrible.

Also, people keep talking about being able to gift items that drop in the same zone as someone you’re playing with, without using resonance… That is NOT my experience with the gift system. I don’t know if I was experiencing a weird bug, but every time I tried it demanded a resonance even if the item had literally just dropped while I was playing with someone.

When that happens, submit a bug report using the in-game tool. That definitely shouldn’t happen. As long as you’re both in a party and in the same zone it should be free to gift.

I’ll definitely submit some bug reports next time. I was playing with my brother and we couldn’t give each other anything that dropped without a resonance despite being in the same party and zone.
