Looks like lots of goodies for this Halloween season, I just hope none of them turn out to be tricks vs a treat.

Build-enabling items off Pinnacle bosses is never great in practice…unless the playerbase actively makes a lot of alts which as far as I’ve seen LE has fallen more into the “kill the bosses, quit until next season” category (which is totally fine aside from this itemization).
The neck off the first big boss we got (I’m in shambles rn can’t remember any names at work) is a perfect example of AWESOME design. It doesn’t enable anything, but it’s a sick chase with potential to hit big and give you a nice power spike on the build you’re already playing and put time into. Love that, complete W, awesome. Do some farming with it, see how far you can push your corruption, then ultimately quit a day or 2 later because that’s what ACTUALLY happens. But you quit happy and proud of your progress and you had fun, looking forward to next season. Or you keep grinding to min-max a little further now. Every player type win.
But that new sword…so what you’re going to essentially beat the game, get that, then re-do your build? The melee avalanche build sounds awesome…but you’d be caster until then. That’s a notable itemzation change…and by the time you’re farming that boss you almost for sure have a stronger weapon for your CURRENT build unless you magically get lp on it. So you’d need to indeed rebuild some gear around making it work (switching to melee and likely adjusting defensive layers).
Sorry for rant, def look forward to season, just hate when games do this. The only benefit is A) selling on MG (which you can say for anything) B) re-rolling around it (which isn’t inherently bad but LE historically doesn’t really have the retention for that).
WTB more Nihilis style pinnacle drops (remembered the name by end of rant LOL)

That helm should have every line replaced with “Your skellys stop getting entirely wiped-out by any boss mechanic in any form of corruption.” and it’d be better. The amount if skellys isn’t the issue skelly builds have.

new armour uniques have 3D models or it’s still lazy cheap 2011 slop?
Would you rather new skills, mobs & stuff to do or 3d models for uniques that you’ll probably not use?
I agree with the core concept (that we want 3d models that match the 2d art) but don’t agree with the cheap lazy slop of a post.
