I think they have mostly underpromised and over delivered so far

This community is nice and there is a very good communication with the devs.
I don’t regret joining LE.
New player here aswell just bought a game after wolcen problems.I just want to say hello to new community:) Wolcen was not a game for me i think i love diablo 1 and 2 and i think Last Epoch will fill the void
It’s simple , as i already said once, this game on this state, beta still, is one of the best i played/ tested so far.
Sure there are no multiplayer yet or trade but the game is worth it you won’t regret ( oh god i’m thinking of this wolcen game).
And to answer your other question : yes they really trying to make the game better, no doubt.
Now it’s up to you no one will force you to invest.
