I’m loving the necromancer with a heavy focus on mass minions. However, it’s getting hard to see if I have everything summoned with the current way the minion portraits work.
My feedback/suggestion is to have fewer larger portraits, one for each skill (skeleton, skeleton mage, golem, wrath, etc) with the total number of summons from that skill on the portrait. The portrait would also appear as soon as you put the skill on your bar, and would show 0 when you had no minions of that type summoned.
Under each large portrait, would be mini portraits for the different type of minions currently summoned. For example, if you had 4 skeletons, 2 of which was rogues, and 2 were archers, then you’d have 4 on the big skeleton portrait, with two mini portraits for archer and rogue, with 2’s on each of them. Maybe the mini portraits could be hidden or toggleable for those who don’t care the exact makeup of the type of summons.
The order of the large portraits should either be fixed so they don’t move around, or maybe the order matches the order of the skills on your bar.
If the above suggestion is too much of a change, then at a minimum, the different type of minions should be grouped closer together if they come from the same skill. Having skeleton rogues on the far left, and skeleton archers on the far right makes it difficult to check and add up if enough skeletons are summoned.
Lastly, the tooltip for each skill should show the updated max number of summons based on skills selected. And/or the number on the large portraits should turn green when you have max summons out.
