Yeah movement, curses, etc all allowed, just no attack lol
As soon as your character does damage, it’s not a true minion build!

So movement skills & curses are out then, since they all do damage (except the one that reduces resists, the name of which I can’t remember).
So a skelly necro in D2 who relied on his minions to kill the first enemy so that you have fodder for the one or other corpse explosion doesn’t count at all?
You can make transplant summon minions - then it is a summon skill
Resurrecting this thread to say that I finished the campaign and the Fall of the Outcasts mono with my purely minion master Necromancer and outside of Lagon and Majasa didn’t have any real issues.
I’m not pushing it further due to how boring I find the gameplay and I can’t be arsed to sit through the rest of the normal mono’s to reach empowered just to see how far it goes.
Gameplay revolved around 8 Fire Skeleton Archers, 5 Skeleton Mages (non-converted) that cast Necrotic Mortar and Profane Oblation on Vanguards and Melee Wraiths, 2 Pyre Golems (best Bois), and Spamming Summon Wraith on tougher enemies. The final skill was Summon Volatile Zombie with a 30% chance in minion death to summon them, and they always created a vanguard. Paired with the 12% chance on minion death, the melee wraiths being sacrificed, the vanguards being sacrificed, and the zombies always creating new vanguard, it was just chains of explosions.
You pretty much just dump mana into wraiths, and then walk around. Very boring imo, but maybe someone could have fun with it. No Uniques required. Here’s the passives/skills planner:
Ive tried the full fire minion build with fire wraiths, fire mages, fire archers, and fire golems, the golems did nothing because of travel time, getting blocked by everything and what i call mommy may I… when the go out maybe attack once then come back for approval before going out again. if you make the wraiths perm then they just suck as you can only have 2 so they become trash, the archers just are squish so the build is almost entirely reliant on the mages at higher monos. Min maxed the hell out of it to get the absolute best they could and it was trash. Swapped to a wraithlord build and noticed how much better the game was.
