So I noticed that the range on Lightning was suddenly limited on Mana Strike, and I tested it against sources of Zap, and it seems the skill is now casting Zap instead when you hit things! While this is quite nice for AoE, it is not the intended functionality as listed by the skill, as enemies who are far away but hit by mana strike will not be hit by any additional lightning effect.
