So it would then be again an S tier build?
yes
This fix is really needed. The Spriggan is a shadow of his former self without it.
Aren’t the Raindance unique boots interesting for this build?
If you decide to run maelstrom and ltos of dodge i suppose they could work well.
I believe the bug for roots may possibly be fixed? (I only just started the game and read the patch notes that may pertain to it). So where can I see where to go on the entangling roots tree? do I look at the previous version of this build you posted and follow the tree for roots from there?
Welcome to the community!
I will post a picture soon. But yes just take it as it was before with all the spriggan goodies!
Since I’m not maxed level, I’m extending roots duration so I cast it less times (dont have enough points to put on shaman passives yet), and still have 2 points that im still playing with it, testing enlarging roots area or chance to bleed/poison so if you still dont have enough mana regen like me I guess you can try this.
I tried entangling roots , but I think it needs one more mana regen on the other ring.
I just never have enough mana. And I have 17 mana regeneration
and I have 2xT5 and one T4 mana regen items
But besides that , the build went from being an autocast walking around relaxing build to having to play FPS to target the spriggan with blessing and stay close to it so it is within entangling roots.
Feels like FPS tetris at the moment and honestly not fun to play any more.
So if you could recommends another S rank facetank with a pet that does everything for you , please do.
And Entangling roots seems a bit nerfed , I mean you can only get mana efficiency if you reduce the area drastically , which makes it quite unusable.
Or buff up Mana Bloom so it actually makes some difference.
1 mana per second is nothing.
This one will also kill your FPS but it went 300 Waves in arena on first attempt.
Would heoborean armor not be a bit better? you get mana regen , but loose some move speed
Movespeed is always superior.
But yes either way is viable depending what you need
Now that they fixed entangling roots, would you say its back to S tier now??

I havet played it yet to find out. SoonTM
The minion ai is certianly a buff to it and being able to use skills like warcry, leap, and frenzy totem with the eterras blessing and companion damage reduction are certianly bonuses. The huge mana cost of entangling roots is still an issue though and the lack of aoe of course. I would definitely be interested in seeing a version with a few rolls of mana regen somewhere. Overall I’d say its probably just as good as it was before if not a little better, if that was S tier to you then it is probably still there.
Hello Boardman21,
I am playing this build with Entangling Roots and the feeling is very good. I am using some uniques from old build and skills from new.
However I am not a specialist and would love to see this build updated. I think it can rach very easly S rank again!
Looking forward to your respond
Thank you
Why does the build need updating? It was only posted a bit over a month ago and we’ve not had a major patch (0.8.3) yet.
