Lead the Charge is not granting the haste buff.
Does it not grant Manifest Armour/Forged Weapons haste?
It does appear to if the allies are near your starting position but not your ending location. Which kinda fits into the name of the node but does feel a bit wierd. Maybe they intend for it to help your minions catch up with you?
This does not give you a haste buff only allies. If it gave you a haste buff it would mention “You and your allies”.
