How is that? Lightning appears in Javelin (a Sentinel skill) as well as other places not just Paladin, so how is it a Paladin thing in LE? Maybe I missed it but I don’t recall anything saying it’s “holy” damage.
That’s not what i said. For the Sentinel lightning is a “holy” thing. The devs have said that they don’t want to add yet another damage type so sincle the Pally is the holy warrior (as contrasted with the Void Knight), they use lightning to fill that archytype of “holy damage”. The devs have said as much on syream and in discord rather than having it stated in-game.

When did it become an after-thought to mention things, directly pertaining to the game, in the game’s official forums or in the game itself? Why should players have to correlate 3, 4 or 5 various sources to learn about the mechanics of the game they are playing? Seems like “Lightning is the manifestation of the Paladin’s holy wrath”, could have been a simple statement, in-game, that could have added much clarity. Maybe they should add that to an Only-Fans site, and charge 10 bucks a month to get that information? Seems like a great 3rd revenue stream for them.
I know you are making a valid point and its true, but its not that bad for non critical stuff. The best source in my opinion are Mikes streams but most of us, myself included, never have the time to watch them. If it werent for @AndrewTilley giving us regular summaries from everywhere, I’d never keep up with Judds reddit posts, Mikes (and sometimes Kains) discord ask the dev quotes or forums posts.
Personally, all of this should be in the official Wiki, but I’ll be kind/conservative/not an arse and just say that the wiki leaves a lot to be desired. Someone needs to do something about that fiasco.

The problem with streams, or Youtube videos or whatnot is they are not searchable. Hell, if I’m watching the stream and I get up to take a piss, I could miss information I’m interested in. Point being that official information about the game itself, and its workings, should be available within official forums and/or the game itself. That just makes sense.
Otherwise, how is that any different than me leaving bug reports in a random Youtube from LastEpochFan01, in the video comments section, then getting upset when EHG doesn’t address it? I would be an insane person to expect that to happen.
