As a new player, i had always liked the lightning strike anyway 
The node that autocasts Lightning Blast while Arcane Ascendance is active specifies it casts when you hit an enemy. If you’re specced into Closed Circuit, will Arcane Ascendance cast Lightning Blast on hitting an ally?
That’s right, lightning strike is a very cool skill I like a lot on my lightning mage. But it does not scale very well at higher levels. With the new skilltree it probably will be different.
On paper the new skilltree is amazing with more variety to build. Can’t wait to test it.
