You should look for guides that explicitly says “Leveling guide”…
Specifically on maxroll, they put a warning on each late game oriented guides, saying something like “This guide assumes you’re already level 70 bla bla, otherwise, check this other guide for leveling linked below”
On said leveling guides, they generally put stuff like step-by-step leveling and gearing tips, like shown on this pic: https://prnt.sc/Bg_kGPjJGDxt, so they can help a lot when you’re just getting to know the game.
Edit: Although I think you don’t even need a guide to start with… Last Epoch is one of the most beginner friendly and less punishing games in the genre. Everything is really intuitive in a way you can make your own builds work decent enough just by reading everything in the game.
I only suggest looking for guides when people seem to be completely lost like this is the first aRPG they ever played (you know, like not knowing what kind of weapon a Paladin usually uses in a game like this, haha)
